Area Sales Manager - South West

Up to £45k D.O.E

Overview:

  • Achievement of objectives agreed with the divisional Sales Manager
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base
  • To participate in promotional activity, including exhibitions when required/trade counter demonstrations
  • To carry out merchandising of our products within the commercial merchant space
  • To seek to obtain and identify new business opportunities where possible
  • To nurture and develop a pipeline of business through effective project management
  • Effective Analysis of sales data to support the identification of new opportunities and understand any key deficits
  • To adopt a proactive approach towards targeting new customers through effective appointment making and maintain a diary
  • Expedites the resolution of customer issues and complaints
  • To maintain accurate data within the companies CRM system

The ideal candidate will:

  • You are driven and have a tenacious approach – KPI Orientated with proven track record
  • You have strong sales competency skills including effective questioning, overcoming objections and closing sales
  • Good Written and numeracy skills
  • Good understanding of distribution channels and demand creation
  • Ability to use initiative to support overcoming problems with solutions
  • Able to cultivate relationships at different levels
  • You have commercial acumen – Industry Knowledge advantageous
