Area Sales Manager - South West
Up to £45k D.O.E
Overview:
- Achievement of objectives agreed with the divisional Sales Manager
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base
- To participate in promotional activity, including exhibitions when required/trade counter demonstrations
- To carry out merchandising of our products within the commercial merchant space
- To seek to obtain and identify new business opportunities where possible
- To nurture and develop a pipeline of business through effective project management
- Effective Analysis of sales data to support the identification of new opportunities and understand any key deficits
- To adopt a proactive approach towards targeting new customers through effective appointment making and maintain a diary
- Expedites the resolution of customer issues and complaints
- To maintain accurate data within the companies CRM system
The ideal candidate will:
- You are driven and have a tenacious approach – KPI Orientated with proven track record
- You have strong sales competency skills including effective questioning, overcoming objections and closing sales
- Good Written and numeracy skills
- Good understanding of distribution channels and demand creation
- Ability to use initiative to support overcoming problems with solutions
- Able to cultivate relationships at different levels
- You have commercial acumen – Industry Knowledge advantageous
