Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our prefabricated above-ground drainage, water supply systems, and fabrication solutions. The role involves developing new business in non-core sectors like local authorities, civil infrastructure, residential, and MMC manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer needs.
- Develop and implement business development plans to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product development, marketing) to align strategies.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Support and coach Territory Sales Managers to grow market share.
- Track and analyze sales data, reporting progress to senior management.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in business development or sales, particularly within construction or civil engineering.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of prefabricated drainage and water supply systems.
- A strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and skilled in analyzing data.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management is desirable but not essential.
