Overview:

Our client, a leading bathroom brand in Ireland and the UK, is seeking a Specification Manager to open, qualify, win and grow specification business with regional residential housebuilders across the assigned UK territory.

The Specification Manager will own the end-to-end relationship from architect/specifier engagement through to housebuilder procurement and sign-off. The incumbent of this role will also manage the project pipeline through to installation, and act as the on-territory representative of the brand within the regional housebuilder community.

Ideal Candidate:

Minimum five years' specification or technical sales experience with a residential housebuilder customer base (bathroom, kitchen, ceramics, sanitaryware, tiling, flooring or adjacent product categories).
Demonstrable track record of winning specification with regional and/or national housebuilders — evidenced by named accounts, project values and conversion rates.
Strong commercial acumen: comfortable with margin discussions, value engineering, total cost of ownership conversations and contractual negotiation.
Strong existing relationship network within the regional housebuilder community in the territory.
Self-starter, comfortable working autonomously from home with regional and national travel.
Clean UK driving licence.
Right to work in the UK.
