Overview:

Our client, a well known property maintenance and installation organisation, is seeking a Ventilation Engineer to join their successful team.

The post holder will be required to install, maintain and service electrical/mechanical ventilation units on behalf of local authorities providing housing and property maintenance services. You will be required to carry out programmed and reactive installation and maintenance activities, within both empty and tenant occupied buildings/properties, and communal areas. Duties will include rewiring and upgrade work to commercial ventilation systems, carrying out minor repairs, and PPM visits to Mechanical extractor fans, Mechanical heat recovery units and ventilation ducting.

Ideal Candidate:

NVQ level 2 or 3 in heating & Ventilation or building services
Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds inspection and testing or Inspection
Certificate of Asbestos Awareness Training (provided at Company Induction)
Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience
Full driving licence
Excellent communication skills
Able to work alone and within a team
