National Account Manager - East Anglia

£45k (D.O.E) + O.T.E



  • Field sales position, selling our clients distributed range of plumbing & heating and bathroom supplies to independent plumbing & heating merchants, builders’ merchants and hardware stores
  • Account Managing circa 100 live accounts (from £2,000 up to £1m turnover)
  • Inheriting a sales ledger which has overachieved budget for the last 5 years
  • 5 customer visits per day
  • Offering recommendations for new products lines and managing the area through rigorous business planning
  • Identifying purchase decision makers and arrange and attend sales visits
  • Building relationships with both existing and prospective clients

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Field sales experience
  • Proven field sales track record in the plumbing & heating industry
  • Either successfully selling to plumbers merchants or working for a plumbers merchant in a field sales capacity/ looking to break into field sales
  • Experience of having sold into the independent distribution channel
  • Autonomous in nature, motivated and driven to succeed
  • Strong team player, sociable and ambitious
  • Friendly, assertive, independent, quick paced and able to work on own initiative
