Area Sales Manager - Essex / South East London.

£40k - 45k D.O.E +

£7.5k (O.T.E.)

Bathroom Furniture Manufacturer.

Overview:

  • Developing key relationships across the respective customer base to sell branded products to a combination of independent retailers and merchants.
  • Reports to National Sales Manager, including regular interaction with the Group Sales Director & National Account Manager.
  • Cross functional interaction with a team of 5 x ASM (Bathrooms), as well as the wider sales team.
  • Key objective is to grow & develop our market share across these customers.
  • Utilise and complete all required reporting procedures including CRM system, (App).
  • Expected day involves 20 calls per week working across key decision makers and influencers across the customer base.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have an excellent background in selling into the merchant trade and retail environment.
  • Have good presentation skills and strong commercial/customer orientation. 
  • External sales role preferably within the KBB sector/Ind. Retail/Merchant channel.
  • Knowledge of the customer base and key principals is a distinct advantage.
  • Be able to work at pace and achieve tight deadlines. 
  • Have an awareness of the market competitors, including their products and activities.
  • Be a driven and dedicated individuals whose personality shines through.
  • They will require excellent communication skills within the team and customers.
