ASHP BDM - Scotland 

Overview:

We are seeking an Air Source Heat Pump BDM on behalf of our client who is a leading manufacturer of heating and hot water solutions.

The role of ASHP Business Development Manager will focus on supporting new and existing installers to purchase and install low carbon heating solutions for residential homeowners. The principle purpose of this role is to identify and build relationships with installers who will install and commission our client's Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP’s). 

In this role the ideal candidate will support customers in the transition process through learning about new technology, educating them on the need for change and supporting with the selection and implementation of unfamiliar equipment and system designs. Utilizing the Technical back office to support with design and MCS.

The long-term goal will be to build a network of loyal ASHP installers who will be competent and familiar with this product range.  These installers will have the potential to purchase bulk orders of equipment via merchants to service residential properties of the future.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience of selling, negotiation and building new business.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate across key external and internal stakeholders.
  • A background with a renewable technology installer or manufacturer (desirable).
  • Numerate with the ability to turn data into information and action.
  • Ability to understand and interpret the market, products and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of working within a sales or service provider team.
  • Research experience.
  • CRM knowledge.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to analyse, absorb, reflect on and respond to data information.
