Overview:

Our client -The UK's market leading Wetroom Brand - is seeking a Business Development Manager to represent them within a defined geographical area and successfully promote the Healthcare product ranges within this territory.  The BDM is responsible for managing existing business and developing new business in accordance with specified targets set by the National Sales Manager.  The customers to be targeted will include Contractors, Local Authorities, Home Improvement Agencies and Housing Associations, amongst others. 

Ideal Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience within specification sales. It would be advantageous, but not essential, to demonstrate experience of selling into the local authority sector, Healthcare, KBB or building materials.
  • You will have a proven track record of successful field sales. 
  • Be successful in making appointments to the level of 4 or more per day during the working week.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, inter-personal and diplomatic attributes at all times, especially when dealing with customers.
  • Be able to present using PowerPoint to a high standard.
  • Have knowledge of: Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Be capable of growing product revenue in the dedicated geographic area both from existing customers and new accounts.
  • Development of new accounts.
  • Once established in the role, this person will demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the portfolio, and therefore have the ability to sell the full range of products confidently.
