Overview:

Our client, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of renewable energy products, is seeking a design engineer to join their team.This market leading company supplies homes with heat pump products that provide domestic hot water to ensure a comfortable indoor climate. This role involves assisting with estimates, updating documentation, and working closely with sales and product teams to ensure projects meet industry standards. The post holder will create drawings for on-site implementation using CAD, REVIT and Solidworks, complete building fabric and ventilation heat loss calculations and provide estimates to customers for proposed designs.

Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent IT skills with strong organisational and communication abilities
• A degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in Building Services – desirable
• Alternatively, a relevant Level 3 qualification with a minimum of three years' vocational experience in Building Services design – considered
• Proficiency in using CAD software
• Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages concurrently
• Experience working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Clear, effective communication skills at all levels
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
