Key Accounts Manager (New Build) - Ireland

Role Profile

This position will require you to develop new and repeat business for this leading KBB brand with Client Developers, including the build to rent / sell market, Architects & specifiers, key main contractors and large Mechanical and Electrical contractors. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Client Developers, Key Accounts, Architects, Specifiers, and Mechanical and Electrical contractors, you are responsible for securing Brand specifications across the product portfolio.
  • Establish this KBB brand as a key partner and build solid relationships with Key Client developers & Specifiers in securing the use of these products across all their suitable projects.
  • Build a specification pipeline of major project business with the key Client developers & Specifiers utilising all appropriate research tools (e.g. Barbour ABI, CRM, networking)
  • Map out key client developers & specifiers, ensuring all decision makers, key consultants, architects, contractors are included.  
  • Convert a minimum agreed amount of specifications into orders working closely with the relevant Business Development Managers where appropriate, ensuring that
  • Pricing of client lead projects is agreed in collaboration with the merchant or agreed supply channel.
  • Market Pricing / tender opportunities are clarified.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Previous Experience working with Client Developers
  • Previous experience working with Main Contractors/ Mechanical and Electrical contractors
  • experience of dealing with customers to achieve sales and margin targets
  • Develop a positive ongoing working relationship with new and existing customers to achieve sales targets
  • Able to identify additional sales opportunities and deal with customer issues professionally
  • Ability to plan your own work diary to achieve sales targets
